Years ago I was talking to my best friend and explained that he was having troubles with his girlfriend. "We're in a one-sided silent fight." "What the heck is that?" I asked. First he explained that he was being completely ridiculous and dysfunctional. It's when you're mad at someone, and for whatever reason you opt not to do the adult thing: address the issue and engage in a discussion with the other person. Breakfast
I'm in Boston for LiveWorx. I go to check in to my hotel last night for two nights and it's literally straight from The Simpsons: "In accordance with overbooking our hotel, our hotel is overbooked and you're going to have to stay at another hotel tonight." They did book another hotel, but it's a serious pain staying for one night, checking out, checking your bags, and then checking into another hotel. I'll never stay at The Element next to the Boston Convention Center again.

Replacement Cards
Whenever I get a replacement credit card or credit card, I cut my old card up into four pieces. But I make sure not to throw the pieces away all in the same place. One piece goes into my household trash. I'll dispose another piece in the kitchen trash at work, another piece gets surreptitiously slipped into a trash can at the gym, and the last piece in a garbage bin at the Light Rail station.
